C\u2019est que Satya n\u2019existe pas compl\u00e8tement d\u2019un point de vue l\u00e9gal, car Satya a deux mamans. Pour Helen et Nicky, la petite fille est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment fondamental de la famille qu\u2019elles ont choisi de construire ensemble, et naturellement elles veulent pouvoir d\u00e9cider toutes deux de son avenir. Face au vide juridique, Helen et Nicky se lancent dans une action publique, qui se transforme en un combat en qu\u00eate de libert\u00e9 et de reconnaissance, confirmant ainsi que l\u2019intime est toujours politique.
